Embark Marketing positioned Maverick Distilling in searches related to distilleries in San Antonio, whiskey tasting experiences, craft cocktails near downtown, Broadway nightlife, bourbon tastings, and bars near the Pearl District. The strategy focused on local intent and high-conversion searches instead of broad awareness advertising techniques found on social media or Google Performance Max campaigns.

Additionally, the Yelp platform is frequently in the top ten of cited sources in emerging AI search platforms, as these prefer the user generated content (UGC) found in abundance on the site.

The Yelp Ads Campaign Generated Strong Revenue Growth

From November 2025 through April 2026, Yelp Ads generated 2,693 attributed store visits and more than $134,000 in projected revenue. November delivered the strongest month of the campaign with 734 attributed store visits and $36,700 in projected revenue. December followed with 566 attributed visits and $28,300 in projected revenue.

Even slower seasonal periods continued to produce measurable results, proving that Yelp Ads remained an effective traffic driver throughout the campaign.
