About Groove House 

Groove House is proud to be San Antonio’s first throwback bar. Situated on the city’s Northside, this bar offers classic bar food, ice cold beer, and a spacious dancefloor. The owner, Adrian Martinez, set out to create an atmosphere that would transport visitors back in time with the use of ‘90s & 00’s themed music, videos, and décor throughout. The venue houses a full bar, drafts on tap and HD TVs throughout the bar. The bar offers nine unique signature cocktails, which features throwback-themed drinks like “Getting Jiggy,” “Whoop There It Is,” and “Boo-Ya!”  Groove House also offers a full menu that includes a variety of tasty appetizers and entrees from Tuesday through Saturday, 4pm to 2pm. Project – Groove House Social Media Marketing

Groove House and Embark Marketing partnered up in 2018 to cultivate awareness and engagement for the newly themed bar. Groove House opened in January of this year in the Northside San Antonio, with a Grand Opening celebration. Embark Marketing and Groove House joined forces on this initial project, which proved successful by exhibiting positive results. To read more about Groove House’s Grand Opening case study, click here. Following their grand opening, Embark Marketing set out to continue reaching new customers, creating brand awareness and customer relationships. Embark Marketing determined that the best approach to reaching Groove House’s marketing goals was to build a strong digital presence for them.

As a newly established themed bar in the city of San Antonio, Groove House needed to create new customer relationships with their target demographic. Their primary objective was to bring awareness to potential customers via a strong social media presence.


Social Media Relations

Groove House’s target demographic consisted of males and females over the age of 21 situated in Northside San Antonio. To engage this demographic, Embark Marketing focused on three social media platforms for Groove House: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Below are Groove House’s overall social media account number increases over the course of six months:

Facebook gained 2,535 likes in 6 months
Instagram gained1,565 followers in 6 months
Twitter gained 171 followers in 6 months
