Hello y’all! I’m a recent graduate from Texas A&M University–San Antonio, where I majored in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and minored in Business. From early on, I knew this was the career field I loved and one I truly had a passion for. Graduating and stepping into the “real world” can be a bit intimidating, especially with all the unknowns. I realized that an internship would be the perfect opportunity to build both my skills and confidence.

One day, while scrolling through LinkedIn, I came across an article written by a former intern at Embark Marketing. They spoke highly of the experience and the valuable skills they gained. Inspired by their story, I decided to apply. What did I have to lose?

Now, here I am, reflecting on my own time as an intern at Embark Marketing. It feels like such a full circle moment to be the one writing about this incredible experience.

My experience as an intern at Embark Marketing was truly remarkable. I’ve grown both personally and professionally, and I now feel more confident in myself and the skills I’ve developed. From day one, the team was incredibly welcoming and supportive.

Kim, the founder, goes above and beyond for her interns. She takes the time to sit down with you and teach you how to respond to reviews, create content, and manage social media, all while running a business herself. Her passion for marketing and genuine care for her interns is something that truly deserves recognition.

It’s such an unreal moment when you’re driving around San Antonio, and you realize you’re the one behind the social media and marketing for some of the most well-known restaurants in the city. Some of these restaurants I’ve dined at, and never in a million years would I have thought that one day, I’d be the one creating Instagram stories or crafting their email blasts.

I truly value my time at Embark Marketing, and I’m so grateful for all the knowledge and experience I’ve gained. I wish the team nothing but success and continued growth.

Kiley on her final day as an Embark Intern!
